Book by Jiří Rajlich, dedicated to one of the youngest fighter aces of the Austro-Hungarian Air Force, the Giant Mountains–born Eugen Bönsch. The core of the book is based on a unique preserved personal diary which Bönsch kept in the years 1917–1918. The author has dealt with the theme of Austro-Hungarian air forces operating on the Italian Front (in particular Fliegerkompagnie 51J) and supplemented additional facts as well as broader context. The text is accompanied by colour camouflage schemes of aircraft such as the Albatros D.III (Oef), Fokker B.II, Hanriot HD.1, or Sopwith F.1 Camel.
