Playing the game
- Game Level: Engage in battles at Corps level, managing your brigades by standard playing cards. The playing card system gives a random activation of individual or several brigades and supports not the turn and turn about method of other rule sets giving a flexibility in the scale of your engagements.
- Game Duration: Designed for both quick battles and extended campaigns, with game durations ranging from 1 to 4 hours depending on the players chosen scenario.
- Base Sizes: These rules use a grid system as the unit of measurement. The game space consists of square grids each representing 300 yards on the ground. This gives you flexibility with miniature sizes used and allowing you to adapt existing collections easily for example Cavalry base for 100mm grid is a 100mm square base allowing you vignette your figures.
- Table Size: although the book uses a 6’ x 4’ table for demonstration this can be adapted for different sizes, providing ample space for manoeuvring and strategic planning.
