An English translation of the “Ecole du Peloton,” the second part of the 1791 French Infantry Drill Regulations. This was used to teach company drill manoeuvres throughout the Napoleonic Wars.
The first volume, “School of the Soldier,” taught the individual drill of French Napoleonic soldiers. The final volume of the 1791 Regulations details battalion-level drill manoeuvres. These will be of interest to the re-enactor and historian.
